Cluster

To meet these needs, we set up a cluster made up of several servers. The cluster can be reserved for Web functions for example or for the data base. In the event of failure of the one of the cluster nodes, the load is distributed between the various nodes that are still operational.

Our SMTP and Antispam gateways for example are in cluster configuration in order to guarantee total availability of these services.

Load Balancing

Your Web application generates heavy traffic and you wish to distribute the load over several Web front-ends. Continuity of service is of primary importance for your application and the failure of a server must not compromise this requirement.

We propose load distribution solutions adapted to your needs which can be dedicated or shared. Based on Cisco or Alteon technologies, they satisfy the following characteristics:

- Distribution of accesses over one or more servers,  
- Increase in the number of servers without interruption of service,  
- Automatic routing of the traffic towards an operational server in the event of failure of one of them,
- Disconnection of one of the defective servers for repair or update without interruption of service.

Multi-site replication

As our data centers are connected in black fibre, for your very high availability applications, you can consider a configuration of servers automatically replicated on our various sites. This type of solution will be worked out by our network engineers after a detailed and thorough study of your needs
